MOVIE ADAPTATION
"Manipulation" is based on Walter Matthias Diggelmann's novel "Das Verhör des Harry Wind" - one of the most significant post-war novels in Switzerland. In the 1960s and 70s, Diggelmann was one of the best-known Swiss authors besides Max Frisch and Friedrich Dürrenmatt. The novel explores the world of political public relations and mass manipulation. Diggelmann shows with brutal explicitness that stories are more forceful than evidence.
